Holy Blackness

This piece was created in homage and meditation on the divinity inherent in Black Lives. Originally begun in September of 2020, Chanel Beebe started this piece as an intentional meditation on all things Holy about Black Life to contrast the news and struggles being reflected/projected onto our lives. Over time, she incorporated symbologies and phrases that embodied components of black life and intentions related to its survival/thriving.
